| Ashcroft
Farm is located in the Shenandoah Valley six miles east of
I-81 (exit 313 in Winchester) and 25 miles west of Middleburg (Route
50). We are approximately one hour from the intersection of
the Washington Beltway (I-495) and I-66.
From Winchester,
Route 50 East, cross the Opequon (which puts you in Clarke County),
turn right onto Gun Barrel Road (Route 644). Go 3/4 mile and
turn right onto Kitchen Lane. Our farm is at the end of that
lane. Click
here for map.
From the DC
area you have a couple of choices. Coming out Interstate
66 you will exit at Exit 23, travel north on Route 17 for
approximately eight miles until you get to the stop light at Routes
17 and 50. Then turn left (heading west) onto Route 50.
Once you have crossed the mountains and Shenandoah River, you will
travel approximately seven miles until you get to the intersection
of Routes 50 and 340 (stoplight). One more mile west on Route
50 and then turn left on Gun Barrel Road (Route 644), 3/4 mile and
turn right on Kitchen Lane. Our farm is at the end of that
lane. Click
here for map.
If Route 50 is better for you,
proceed west through Middleburg for another 25 miles and then follow
the directions above after the stoplight at Routes 50 and 17.
This year we’ve added a Map
Quest link. Simply put in your starting address and click
"Get directions". It will give you complete directions and
maps on how to arrive at Ashcroft Farm.
